Seit unserem Sommer Ceili im Saal der Line Dancer in Pödeldorf sind jetzt schon fast 5 Monate vergangen.
Auf vielfachen Wunsch und auch, weil dieser Saal mit seinem tollen Holzschwingboden etwas Besonderes ist, wollen wir dort, bevor das Jahr zu Ende geht, noch einmal tanzen.
Von 11-12:30 Uhr biete ich Euch einen kostenlosen Workshop an, wir tanzen das Rockfield House Set, Pat Murphy hat es dieses Jahr beim Erlangen Weekend unterrichtet. Wenn danach noch etwas Zeit ist, tanzen wir ein paar Figuren aus Sets, die wir anschließend im Ceili tanzen werden.
Zu sorgfältig ausgewählten, flotten Tunes stehen für das Ceili auf dem Programm: Merchant, Rockfield House, Claddagh, Ballyvourney Reel, Carrowbeg, Skibbereen, Rinkinstown und Clare Lancers (Änderungen vorbehalten).
Keine Sorge, wenn Ihr das eine oder andere Set nicht kennt oder selten getanzt habt. Ich führe Euch durch alle Tänze, jeder ist herzlich willkommen, den Spass mit allen anderen zu teilen, it has to be fun, that’s what it’s all about!
Wir tanzen das Ceili von 13-16 Uhr, bitte bringt Euch für die kurze Pause zwischen Workshop und Ceili eine Brotzeit mit, für ein paar vorweihnachtliche Naschereien werde ich sorgen. Getränke holt Ihr Euch bitte kostengünstig an der Line Dance Bar.
Es stehen einige Parkplätze vor dem Saal und viele weitere auf der Strasse zur Verfügung. Auch der Bus aus Bamberg hält fast vor dem Saal. Bitte parkt nicht im Hof der Gaststätte Haderlein
Im Anschluss an das Ceili, bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit können wir gemeinsam auf dem romantischen Adventsmarkt rund um die Kirche in Litzendorf eine heißen Glühwein trinken und vielleicht noch ein Bratwurstbrötchen essen. Mit den Auto sind es vom Tanzsaal dorthin 5 Minuten zu fahren, Parken ist an der Gaststätte Krapp in Litzendorf möglich. Von dort sind es nur wenige Gehminuten zum Adventsmarkt.

We’ll be dancing our second ceili in the beautiful hall of the Ellertaler LineDancers in Pödeldorf (Litzendorf). Many of you have already danced there and loved this perfectly renovated hall with its wooden sprung floor from our summer ceili.
We will dance sets, sets, sets to recorded music from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Which sets we dance…. let it be a surprise! Don’t worry—I’ll explain and call all the sets.
That same weekend, just a 4-minute drive away, the traditional frankonian Advent market in Litzendorf will be taking place, where the huts are romantically clustered around the old church, and where, after the ceili as darkness falls, we can fully enjoy the Advent atmosphere with mulled wine, bratwurst, and more.
There are a few parking spots in front of the hall and many more available on the street. The bus from Bamberg also stops almost right in front of the hall. Please do not park in the courtyard of the Haderlein restaurant. The hall offers a selection of drinks at very reasonable prices; please do not bring your own drinks, thank you.
You don’t need to register—just come by and dance with us on the first Sunday of Advent.
It has to be fun, that’s what it’s all about!
