New venue …The Ceili in the Countryside!

Tanzen wie die Iren in einem wunderschönen kleinen Saal ‚in the countryside‘ ein absolut originales Erlebnis, genau das wartet auf uns am Sonntag, 5. Juli im neu renovierten Saal der Country Line Dancer Ellertal, in Pödeldorf (Gemeinde Litzendorf). Für diejenigen, die schon mehrmals in Pödeldorf mit mir getanzt haben: es ist nicht der Raum in der Gaststätte Haderlein, sondern ein Saal in einem Gebäude, das zufällig an die Gaststätte angrenzt.

Die fantastischen Musiker der Augusta Ceili Band werden uns mit Ihren flotten Tunes auf diesem perfekten Holzschwingboden richtig „Beine machen“.

Wir tanzen alle Sets, die auf der geplanten dritten CD der Augusta zu hören sein werden und einige Sets mehr, alle Sets calle ich für Euch. Labasheeda, Ballyvourney Jig, Connemara, West Kerry … Clare Orange&Green, Skibbereen, Rinkinstown und Plain Reel Set.

Der liebevoll renovierte Saal der Line Dancer in Pödeldorf ist mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen, es stehen ausreichend Parkplätze vor dem Saal oder an der Strasse zur Verfügung. Auch der Bus aus Bamberg hält fast vor dem Saal. Bitte parkt nicht im Hof der Gaststätte Haderlein, sondern bitte hinter dem Gebäude. Im Saal gibt es zu sehr moderaten Preisen Getränke, daher bitte keine eigenen Getränke mitbringen, danke.

Es ist mir eine große Freude, dass wir in diesem wunderschönen kleinen Saal am Eingang zur fränkischen Toskana zum ersten Mal ein Set Dance Ceili tanzen dürfen. Wenn Ihr genug Zeit mitbringt, geht dort einmal spazieren und kehrt in einem der vielen wunderschönen Gaststätten und Biergärten zum Esssen ein.

Die Tanzfäche bietet Platz für sechs Sets, deshalb meldet Euch bitte bei mir per Mail oder WhatsApp, wenn Ihr bei dieser Premiere dabei sein wollt!

New venue … The Céilí in the Countryside!

Dance like the Irish in a beautiful little hall in the countryside – a truly authentic experience! That’s exactly what awaits us on Sunday, July 5th, in the newly renovated hall of the Country Line Dancers Ellertal in Pödeldorf (Litzendorf).

The fantastic musicians of the Augusta Céilí Band will really get your feet moving with their lively tunes on this perfect sprung wooden floor.

We will dance all the sets that will be featured on Augusta’s upcoming third CD – and a few more! I will call all the sets for you … Labasheeda, Ballyvourney Jig, Connemara, West Kerry, Clare Orange & Green, Skibbereen, Rinkinstown and the Plain Reel Set.

The lovingly renovated hall is easy to reach by car, with plenty of parking available in front of the hall or along the street. There is also a bus from Bamberg that stops almost right outside. Please do not park in the courtyard of the Haderlein inn, but use the parking behind the building instead.

Drinks will be available in the hall at very reasonable prices, so please do not bring your own – thank you.

It is a great joy for me that we can dance a Set Dance Céilí for the first time in this beautiful little hall at the gateway to the Franconian Tuscany. If you have some extra time, do take a walk in the area and enjoy a meal in one of the many lovely restaurants or beer gardens nearby.
